Betone KYC Verification: When It’s Required And What You Need
Betone asks for KYC checks to confirm who you are, where you live, and that your payment method belongs to you. The platform requests documents through the account verification area and reviews them before allowing certain actions.
Betone triggers verification when you request a withdrawal, when cumulative deposits or withdrawals reach internal compliance thresholds, when account details are changed (name, date of birth, address), or when login and device activity looks inconsistent with your usual pattern. The site can also request KYC after a chargeback, a failed card verification, or repeated deposit attempts from different payment instruments.
Uploads are typically reviewed within 1–24 hours. Manual checks can take up to 72 hours when images are unclear, details don’t match the profile, or the payment method needs an extra confirmation step.
- Identity (ID/Passport): A clear photo or scan of a valid passport or national ID card. Betone checks full name, date of birth, document number, and expiry date against your account profile. If the document has two sides, upload both. A selfie check can be requested when the account was opened recently or when there is a mismatch in personal data.
- Address proof: A document issued within the last 90 days showing your full name and current residential address. Betone accepts utility bills (electricity, gas, water), a bank statement, or a government letter. Screenshots of edited files and documents without the issue date are rejected.
- Payment method: Proof that the deposit method is yours. For bank cards, Betone typically asks for a photo of the card showing the first 6 and last 4 digits, with the middle digits covered, and the cardholder name visible; the CVV must be hidden. For e-wallets, provide a screenshot of the wallet profile page showing your name and account ID or email. For bank transfer, Betone uses a bank statement or transfer confirmation that shows your name and IBAN/account number.
After approval, Betone keeps the verification status on file and only asks again when you change personal details, switch to a new payment method, or a new compliance check is triggered. At
